By now we're all pretty used to heading out of the house with a face mask or two at the ready. I'd venture to guess many of us have amassed quite the collection to chose from each morning. So I don't think anyone here would be disappointed if I introduced you to my latest favorite brand of face masks: Enro. I'm constantly clicking through its pages of offerings, knowing I'll find something that goes with my outfits for the season ahead. Bubblegum pink, tangerine, and pale yellow shades? Check. Pretty florals and tie-dyes? Also, here. I even found some cute summer-ready patterns for those days when I'm feeling cheeky. (Anyone else still on a "watermelon sugar high" from last summer?) These lightweight masks will be in my rotation throughout the season, especially on hotter days when I need something with more breathability like these. Keep scrolling to see my favorites from Enro.

A few years ago, kombucha entered the mainstream, becoming the latest wellness trend stunning the masses with its various gut health benefits. At the forefront of the movement was Health-Ade Kombucha, which launched in 2012 at a local Los Angeles farmer's market with only 60 bottles, and to the founders' surprise, they sold out. Behind the new kombucha brand was a team of best friends: husband-and-wife, Justin and Daina Trout, and Vanessa Dew. As the Co-Founder and Chief Sales Officer, Vanessa Dew quickly realized that they created a unique product, second to none: "When we think about how Health-Ade is different, [it's because] we have guaranteed probiotics in each bottle. And that's really important because when you think about why you're drinking kombucha for the gut, you want to make sure it's jam-packed with probiotics and healthy bacteria, and we guarantee that every single time." In 2019, Health-Ade single-handedly contributed 80% of the category's growth, and today, the brand has grown from selling in a single farmer's market into 35,000 stores, including household names like Whole Foods, Target and Trader Joes.
It comes as no surprise that Dew has always loved science. She majored in biochemistry in college, and right out of school, landed a job at Pfizer, a top global pharmaceutical company, holding an esteemed title as Senior Sales Representative. Dew was fascinated with the world of pharmaceuticals and the idea of curing the world through life-saving medicines, so after Pfizer, she then went to work at GlaxoSmithKline, another major pharmaceutical company. And while Dew loved the world of science, she also had an entrepreneurial itch; thus, she decided to enroll in business school at USC, where she learned the power of networking. Throughout her early career, Dew had a tiny voice in her head pushing her to find a vocation that fulfilled her, and she did just that by following her gut to eventually start Health-Ade Kombucha.
Tune in to the latest Second Life episode to hear how Dew knew when to listen to her inner voice and how she is continuing to evolve the brand into new products. And keep scrolling to discover Health-Ade's latest launches.
Referencing platform Homeppl has revealed how a fraudulent tenant in London tried to rent properties from three different letting agents who used its system, highlighting the severe challenges faced by landlords from tech-savvy criminal renters. The platform says its systems were able to foil the male tenant’s initial attempt in March to rent a property via fake references and documents. It also claims that the sophistication of his efforts would probably have fooled most landlords or letting agents using traditional referencing systems. The tenant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, initially approached a letting agent but checks on Companies House revealed his claimed employer was a firm with no turnover. A bank statement provided proved by him turned out...

NVIDIA has announced Canvas, an app that is available as a free beta that it says brings real-time painting tools to anyone with an NVIDIA RTX GPU. It uses artificial intelligence to make rudimentary sketches or doodles into photorealistic scenes. Canvas is part of NVIDIA Studio, which is a program that provides artists and creators with both hardware and software tools to assist in bringing creative visions to life. Canvas appears to be the consumer-facing version of the app that NVIDIA showcased in 2019, but what is shown here is far more advanced than what was teased back then. In Canvas, users can start sketching simple shapes and lines using a palette of 15 tools such as mountains, clouds,...
Esquites is the salad form of elotes – also known as Mexican street corn. Mexican street corn takes grilled corn, slathers it with mayo and gives it a roll in a combination of crumbled cotija cheese and chopped cilantro. Each ear is finished with a sprinkling of paprika and chili powder and lots of fresh lime juice.

It seems as though Teruel is the place to be if you are an Airbus A380. Another of the aircraft from Etihad arrived at the storage facility today, bringing the total number of giants being stored in Teruel to 22. Etihad Airways has sent another Airbus A380 to Teruel for long-term storage. Photo: Vincenzo Pace – Simple Flying2020 was not a great year to be an Airbus A380. However, it is now starting to look that 2021 is an even worse year for most of the giant aircraft. While Emirates has brought the plane back to service, many airlines such as Etihad and Lufthansa have seemingly sealed the fate of the double-decker....
A screenshot from Chris McMahon’s video captures the moment a powerboat ran over the stern of his 20-foot fishing skiff, with Bryan Maess still aboard. (Courtesy Chris McMahon/)If you’ve been on the Internet in the last four years, you’ve probably seen the video. It starts with three salmon fishermen waving and shouting as a 31-foot powerboat bears down on their small skiff near the mouth of the Columbia River in Oregon.“Hey!” yells the skiff’s owner, Chris McMahon. “Hey! HEY!” But the oncoming boat doesn’t turn or slow. It keeps coming until its bow fills the frame, and the anglers leap into frigid water just as the larger boat runs up and over their 20-foot aluminum Weldcraft.A GoPro camera mounted on McMahon’s boat caught it all. If you freeze...
By: Hans Themistode When it was first announced that Chris Colbert, the WBA interim 130-pound titlist would be taking on long-faded former champion Yuriokis Gamboa, many believed that it would be a walk in the park. Now, however, after the 39-year-old Gamboa was forced to pull out due to injuries to both his ribs and heel, a much sterner test is now awaiting Colbert. Tugstsogt...
