The 28-year-old attacker is Al Ahly’s record signing, having joined the Egyptian giants from UAE club Al Ain in January 2019.
El Shahat says he has received numerous offers, but is currently happy to stay with the reigning African champions.

“I am continuing with Al Ahly, but if the club decides to dispense with me, I will leave,” he told MBC Egypt News.
“I want to stay at Al Ahly. Zamalek, of course, is a big club and has all the respect. I have an offer from (Mamelodi) Sundowns, as well as offers from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, but I will not reveal the names [of those clubs].”

According to the Transfermarkt website, El Shabat is valued at €1.2 million (R20.4 million).
One wonders whether Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane is aware of the reported offer …
