Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 unveiled

Realme is on a roll today as the brand sees itself opening not just one, but two, events with the purpose of revealing new products to the market. One is a campaign that sees the Realme C17 and another being for the disclosure of the Narzo 20 trio, highlighting the products in all their glory.

Much like any latest iteration of the custom interface, the Realme UI 2.0 is based on Android 11, which features the best elements seen in the OS to date. These highlights, however, can be divided into three major segments—Creativity, Sociability, and Productivity.

Bearing the tag “Express yourself,” the Creativity aspect of the interface is all about option for colors on top of existing themes. In conjunction, this segment also features the “Always-On Display” which is essentially about five unique themes as well as an engine for enabling unique patterns. However, the most important element of this facet is the three layers of darkness in Dark Mode.

The Sociability aspect pertains to both sharing and privacy. The former highlights the Realme Share and the Dual Mode Music Share, which talks about the device’s in-house FTP functionality for both files and music, respectively. Then, there is the Subtitle Stitching which, as the name implies, is about weaving still lyrics into music.

As for privacy, it points to the Private Space, which is a PIN-protected drawer which keeps anyone else from prying on sensitive applications. Alternatively, there is also the Invisible Door which is a feature that prevents certain apps from getting inputs of data. Another security measure involves the Security Shield which enables Harassment Call Blocking and Pseudo Site Blocking.

Lastly, the Productivity segment of Realme UI 2.0 refers to the inclusion of Digital Health feature, the Floating Window, and an artificial boost that sees applications running at 23.63 percent faster than usual.
