The new 'Assassin's Creed: Valhalla' Deep Dive trailer even teased the appearance of Odin, the elder god of Norse mythology.
Ubisoft unveiled a new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer called the Deep Dive. The trailer highlights key features of the game; such as the appearance of mythological weapons and places driving home the mythic elements of the game.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Game narrative
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla tells the story of the Viking invasion of the British Isles and how the Vikings fought hard and leaned on their pagan religious beliefs. This is reflected well in the game due to mythic elements from old Norse tradition.
The reveal trailer even teased the appearance of Odin, the elder god of Norse mythology. The game won’t solely be about Norse mythology though as elements of the Arthurian legend will feature as well, such as the appearance of Excalibur.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the most anticipated titles of the year; fans of the open-world action RPG franchise, have been waiting since it was announced in April.
