Brand South Africa’s play your part campaign kicks off in Limpopo schools
(Partner Content) This youth month, Brand South Africa, in partnership with Limpopo Department of Education, launched an exciting virtual Play Your Part campaign and now Limpopo has a chance to play their part.
Brand South Africa’s empowerment initiative and social movement, Play Your Part, is back in its 8th year running encouraging citizens to play their part, while keeping safe, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The youth of today have many different struggles and through it all, it’s important to remember that they are our future leaders. Promoting responsibility and patriotism amongst each other at an early age, will help us build a better South Africa today, for tomorrow.” Says Brand South Africa General Manager of Marketing, Sithembile Ntombela.
Grade 11 & 12 learners from ALLDAYS Secondary School, VP MANTHATA Secondary School and MOTLALAOHLE Secondary School will participate in the online campaign engaging on all social media platforms as part of the call to action encouraging learners to post on Facebook how they have been playing their part during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Brand South Africa is giving away R50 000 to a school with the best Play your Part story, shared by a learner online.

Learners and citizens across the country are invited to participate and get involved for change by sharing their stories on the Play your Part social media platforms Twitter: @PlayYourPartSA and Facebook: Play Your Part. The official hashtags are #playingyourpart #getinvolved #bebrave
Brand South Africa, through Lead SA, has selected local NPO, Multi Talent Agency, to facilitate the handover of the R50 000 to the winning school. The NPO will also be endorsed by Brand South Africa in efforts to advocate for a better South Africa.
The Play Your Part school activations assist in nurturing the creative aspirations and related development of young South Africans and adds to Brand South Africa’s vision of developing a Nation Brand that inspires its people and is admired globally.
