CPL 2020: Jamaica Tallawahs vs Guyana Amazon Warriors – Dream11 Prediction, Playing XI and Live Streaming details

Jamaica Tallawahs (JT) will be up against Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) in the twelfth match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 on Tuesday, August 25. The venue has been shifted to Queen’s Park Oval in the Port of Spain for the next ten matches of the tournament.

The Warriors have won two out of their last four matches. They lost their previous encounter against St Lucia Zouks (SLZ) by a narrow margin of 10 runs.

On the other hand, the Tallawahs have won one and lost two consecutive matches. Their last defeat came in a reverse fixture against the Warriors as the latter successfully defended a paltry total of 118.

JT vs GAW, Probable XI:

Jamaica Tallawahs:

JT will be desperate to turn around the lean patch after getting hammered in their last two fixtures. Their batting unit has been a massive disappointment. Chadwick Walton is yet to notch up a double-figure in the league. He will be coming into the match after failing to score on two successive occasions.

Andre Russell has been one of the most productive batsmen for JT, and fans would love to see him bat higher up the order. Asif Ali has certainly entertained with his fast-paced cameo, and he will be hoping to replicate the same against GAW.

On the bowling front, Mujeeb ur Rahman has impressed with his economical bowling, and he will be supported by Sandeep Lamichchane. Fidel Edwards and Carlos Brathwaite will lead the pace department.

Probable XI: Chadwick Walton (wk), Glenn Philips, Nkrumah Bonner, Rovman Powell (c), Andre Russell, Asif Ali, Carlos Brathwaite, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Sandeep Lamichchane, Oshane Thomas, Fidel Edwards.

Guyana Amazon Warriors:

After losing their last battle against SLZ, the Warriors will be aiming to get back on the winning track. They have some of the most explosive names in the batting arsenal, but none barring Shimron Hetmyer and Glenn Phillips has been consistent with their performance.

Sherfane Rutherford and Keemo Paul will play the role of finishers.

Imran Tahir has been very effective with the ball, and his expertise and versatility surely pose a threat to the opposition.

Probable XI: Brandon King, C Hemraj, Shimron Hetmyer, Ross Taylor, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Sherfane Rutherford, Keemo Paul, Chris Green (c), Ashmead Nedd, Odean Smith, Imran Tahir.

Here are the fantasy Dream11 suggestions:

Want To Win The Game And See James Anderson Get 600 Test Wickets: England Coach Chris Silverwood

England head coach Chris Silverwood has lauded his veteran pacer James Anderson who is on the verge of his 600th test wicket. He will be the first pacer to reach the mark with only spin legends Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble achieving the feat. The 38-year-old pacer is celebrated as the highest wicket-taker for England in Test cricket — and also the first pacer to reach 500 Test wickets for England. England are playing Pakistan in a three-match Test series leading them by 1-0. The first match at Manchester was won by England owing to an epic comeback, and the second was drawn due to rain. In the ongoing third match, Pakistan were asked to follow on after scoring 273 in their first innings in reply to the hosts’ 583-8 declared, trailed by 210 runs at the end of the fourth day.

“He’s an inspiration, isn’t he? 600 Test wickets. Wow,” Chris Silverwood on James Anderson

Chris Silverwood has lauded England pacer James Anderson for his amazing run with the three lions, and for being an inspiration to his fellow bowlers.

“We’re all aware of the milestone Jimmy is looking at but he’ll get there. Hopefully, we’ll see it. It would be brilliant to see Jimmy get over the line. He’s an inspiration, isn’t he? 600 Test wickets. Wow,” Silverwood was quoted as saying by ‘Sky Sports’.

“He’s worked so hard to do it and he’s brilliant around the place. He’s constantly helping the other bowlers. It’s just superb to have one of the best in the world sat in your dressing room and playing for your country,” he added.

Chris Silverwood on dropped catches:

James Anderson would have achieved the 600 mark on day four already if there wouldn’t have been a few missed catches by the England wicket-keeper and fielders. Anderson remained calm and didn’t vent out his frustration which was applauded by his coach.

“I want to win the game first and foremost but to finish strongly and see Jimmy get his 600th would be fantastic. It is frustrating when things don’t go your way as a bowler but all you can do is go back on the practice field and work on what you need to work on. That’s what Jimmy did and he got his rewards,” Silverwood said.

“I thought Jimmy handled himself very well (with the dropped catches). He kept his decorum. No one means to drop them but obviously it’s frustrating,” he added.
