The coronavirus pandemic has putt the entire nation in a state of lockdown. During this time, people are making the most of social media since it pretty much is the only way to stay connected with the ones outside your home. Bollywood celebrities seem to be in the mood for nostalgia as everyone’s has been sharing their childhood memories during the lockdown. Now, Deepika Padukone too joined the bandwagon by sharing a throwback picture from her meeting with Aamir Khan when she was just 13.

Yes, Aamir Khan had met up with the Padukone family way before Deepika turned into the superstar she is today. The Padmaavat actor even hilariously called out Aamir for not offering her food. Her father Prakash Padukone, mother Ujjala and sister Anisha also can be seen in the picture. Sharing the photo on Instagram, Deepika wrote, “Major throwback to 1st January, 2000. I was 13 & awkward. I still am. He was having lunch.Curd Rice to be precise.I was hungry, like I always am.But he didn’t offer and I didn’t ask...#random #anecdote @_aamirkhan.”

On the work front  Deepika Padukone was all set to begin shooting for Shakun Batra’s untitled project along with Ananya Panday and Siddhanth Chaturvedi before the lockdown. came into effect. Aamir Khan, on the other hand, is looking forward to resume work on the Forrest Gump remake named Laal Singh Chaddha post the lockdown.

Sharing the news of Abhijeet’s passing away, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, “We all started the journey of making films with Dreamz Unlimited. Abhijeet was my most resilient & solid ally. V did some good, some wrong but always believed v will sail through because strong team members like him were there to look after the rest of us. Will miss u my friend.”

For the unversed, before Red Chillies Entertainment came existence, Shah Rukh Khan, along with his friends, actress Juhi Chawla and director-producer Aziz Mirza, founded Dreamz Unlimited in 1999. The trio bankrolled films like like Asoka and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. Unfortunately, both the movies failed to impress the audience. In 2003, the company was transformed into Red Chillies Entertainment, and Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan was also brought on board. Their first venture was the action drama Main Hoon Na which turned out to be a smashing success.
