Dozens of cars have been destroyed after a fire ripped through a wrecking yard in Sydney's southwest overnight.

Dozens of cars have been destroyed after a fire ripped through a wrecking yard in Sydney's southwest overnight.

NSW Fire and Rescue crews were called to the yard on Camden Valley Way, Smeaton Grange just before midnight.

Police said the fire destroyed about 50 cars being held for scrap metal and it took crews over two hours to control the blaze.

An investigation is underway, but police are yet to determine the cause of the fire.

Earlier diversions were in place while emergency crews were on scene, however all roads have since reopened.

The little girl is described as Asian in appearance, with curly brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey and pink winter onesie with a zippered front.

Her mother, Ms Pearce, is Taiwanese, with long black hair, brown eyes and of a slim build. She was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with white writing on the front, black tights, with a pink scrunchie in her hair.

Anyone with information in relation to their whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
