Five new Sunseeker models are set to be featured at the 52nd Southampton International Boat Show, held from September 10-19.

The new 2021 models include the Manhattan 55, Predator 55 EVO, 65 Sport Yacht, and 88 Yacht. These four yachts are part of the ‘Famous Five’ models that premiered online in May (the other ‘Famous Five’ model, the 90 Ocean, will feature at the Cannes Yachting Festival instead). Rounding up the new Sunseeker models to be featured at Southampton is the Predator 74 XPS. Check out a snapshot of each model below:

The Manhattan 55, which follows the Manhattan 68, shares the same interior as its big sister. Structurally, it also builds on the platform of the Manhattan 52, however, it’s quicker. Reaching 32 knots through two Volvo Penta D13-800 engines, it outperforms Sunseeker’s fastest-selling model. The Manhattan 55 also features some subtle exterior upgrades, including a second, thinner stainless-steel bowrail around the yacht. This is designed to be safer, stronger and more elegant than the guard wire it has replaced. The yacht featured on the cover of Issue 58, and was the first of the ‘Famous Five’ to be sold in Asia.

It’s topped by a carbon-fibre opening roof with multiple glaze panels. It’s able to reach 32 knots with twin Volvo Penta D11-725 engines on shafts and has a fly-by-wire steering system and independent rudders for exceptional agility. For those who want more, optional thrusters, joystick, and a Humphree Automatic Interceptor System are also available to boost performance.

This can be folded down into a large sun pad or ‘Beach Club’, or raised to face forward into the cockpit. The 88 Yacht combines the feel of a superyacht with the practicality of a yacht in this size category. Powered by twin MTU 10V 2000s as standard, it can reach speeds of up to 28 knots.

The Sealine C335’s hull itself is very similar, it’s got a vertical bow and the exterior employs the signature Sealine Coupe style.

Back aft, there’s a small bathing platform and a big cockpit with a run of seating all the way around. This whole area can be enclosed by canvas covers.

Moving up the side decks, protection is offered by the high bulwarks and tall grab rails, leading to the bow area, where there have been a few small changes.

Instead of having a convertible seating arrangement, there is just a slot-in cushion, which makes a comfortable little two-person bow seat – a rather lovely space to sit at anchor (or underway if you’re not going too quickly).

Other highlights on the foredeck include chunky square cleats and a large anchor locker with a proper electric windlass and dual access, so there’s plenty of space to store fenders.

Bi-fold doors, which stack up on the port side, lead you into the saloon, where there are a couple of cupboards on the portside, with access to all the electronic switchgear and breakers.

One of the big wins on the Sealine C335 is the dinette, which folds up and over to create a quite comfortable two-person seat with a very nice view forward, and there’s even a sunroof overhead so you can stand up and look through there for a better view while docking.

Enjoy the tour…
