Tony McKeever, who formerly held a similar position at the Southern Spears before they became the Southern Kings, is now the driving force behind a partnership between French Top 14 giants Stade Francais and WP.

‘I’d love to put the Stormers on a trajectory with their move to Europe,’ McKeever admitted.

‘I previously helped with the negotiations for the Cheetahs and Kings’ inclusion in the PRO14.

‘At this level, there’s no room for anyone to learn the ropes while he is in the position. Without the necessary administration experience and knowledge of negotiating broadcast deals, you’ll get stuck,’ McKeever added.
