He has scored 110 runs in five matches at a poor strike rate of 106. 79 while opening the innings. The allrounder is likely to given the role of finisher, which he usually does for his national team.

Javdev Unadkat is probably the weak link of the Rajasthan Royals. He is an expensive bowler, but the franchise has not many options to replace him in the playing XI. In seven matches, he has picked up four wickets at the poor economy rate of 9.91.
