The fitness freak Virat Kohli, who landed in the UAE on 21st August, without wasting his time has started physical training in his hotel’s room for preparing for the IPL. The fitness freak Virat Kohli, who landed in the UAE on 21st August, without wasting his time has started physical training in his hotel’s room for preparing for the IPL. The captain is, currently, serving the quarantine period in Dubai along with his teammates in the hotel.

As per BCCI’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the players and staff members will have to go under a six-day quarantine period before starting a training camp in the UAE. Also, they would be tested for the COVID-19 couple of times during that period.

Virat Kohli always keeps his fitness his priority. So, he had already started physical training while he is in the hotel. Taking to Twitter, RCB also shared the photo of their captain after the training and wrote, “No days off for Captain Kohli!”

During the break, Virat Kohli had shared his workout videos where he was sweating hard and flaunting his abs. Probably, he is currently the fittest cricketer in the sport.

Meanwhile, Kohli last featured for India in New Zealand tour which was not the memorable one for him. He was out of form in that tour and registered worst average in the Test series against Kiwis. The aggressive batsman would be raring to take up the field after an extended break.

RCB skipper is also yet to lead the franchise to their maiden title win. The team has reached three times the grand finale of the most popular T20 League but had failed to grab the hands on the trophy. Last time, they reached the finale of the tournament was in 2016. In the last three editions, RCB’s performance has not been up to the mark. The team won only five matches out of 14 in the . This time fans are expecting Virat Kohli to lead the Royals to clinch the IPL title.
