Some of the most famous actresses and stuntwomen of Hollywood recently starred in a full-out, virtual battle royale thanks to New Zealand actress and stuntwoman extraordinaire Zoe Bell and her video appropriately titled Boss Bitch Fight Challenge.

The actress who is mostly known for starring in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Death Proof wanted to “liven things up during her quarantine” and invited some of the best to take part in the challenge which sees the women virtually ‘fighting”.

“I’m so bored! I just want to play with my friends!” she proclaims in the beginning. What happens next is over five minutes of virtual fisticuffs.

Virtual fight challenge

The challenge begins with Bell after which we see actresses like Halle Berry, Scarlett Johansson and her fellow Black Widow star Florence Pugh step into action. Margot Robbie makes use of her Harley Quinn bat while Charlie’s Angels alums Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz jump into the brawl.

Also making cameos are Xena herself Lucy Lawless, Birds of Prey actress Rosie Perez, Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Zoe Saldana, DMZ star Rosario Dawson as well as Daryl Hannah reprising her role as Elle Driver from Kill Bill.

It is said that the best moment is probably a toss-up between Hannah reprising her character from Kill Bill and the “hey, look who it is!” joy at seeing young Julia Butters, the scene-stealing youngster from Once Upon A Time … In Hollywood.

Going viral

It is reported that the video comes on the heels of a previous stunt man compilation from April 2020.

In the video, a total of 39 stuntmen and women came together to create a stunning fist-fight over video whilst quarantined. Director of world-renowned stunt school, Campus Univers Cascades in Vaureal, France, Lucas Dollfus coordinated the action-packed video. The viral clip, racking up over six million views on Twitter, sees the various stuntmen trade blows with impressive props, stunts and strikes.

A South African classic: No-bake fridge milk tart recipe

This recipe is a real winner.

For those who do not know, milk tart or melktert is a South African dessert consisting of a sweet crust containing a custard filling made from milk, flour, sugar and eggs. The ratio of milk to eggs is higher than in a traditional Portuguese custard tart or Chinese egg tart, resulting in a lighter texture and a stronger milk flavour.

If you would like to make a crust, melt 1 cup butter and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and add it to a packet of crushed Tennis biscuits before pressing into a greased pie dish and refrigerating.
