New ‘Hawkeye’ Trailer Teases Fra Free’s Clown & Alaqua Cox’s Echo

A brand new trailer for Hawkeye gives us our first look at Fra Free’s Clown and a better look at Alaqua Cox’s Echo.

Marvel Studios is currently gearing up for the release of the Hawkeye series on Disney Plus, which is set to debut just in time for Christmas. The six-part Holiday event series will debut with two episodes, with subsequent episodes releasing weekly. With the series’ debut just over the horizon, Marvel debuted a brand new television spot on ABC last night.

The brief trailer features a decent amount of new footage, which includes our first look at Fra Free’s Clown. Fans might recognize the Clown as Kazimierz Kazimierczak (or Kazi) a mercenary. In the comics, Kazi is often hired by mob bosses and usually operates as a mid-level grunt. Free’s character is seen alongside Alaqua Cox’s Echo, who we previously got a glimpse of.

It’s unclear just how large of a role Fra Free will have as Clown in the Hawkeye series, but his co-star is set to make a large splash in the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward. Alaqua Cox’s Echo is set to receive her own solo series after she makes her debut in Hawkeye. The trailer also delivers a brief moment where we can see someone in the Ronin suit attacking someone.

Is That ‘Captain America’ Star Chris Evans In The ‘Hawkeye’ Trailer?

Here’s the synopsis for Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye.

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.

Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding the future of the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!

‘Wonder Woman’: Gal Gadot Almost Walked Away From Sequel Over Salary Demands

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot revealed she almost walked away from the sequel if Warner Bros. could not meet her salary demands.

Wonder Woman was a huge success for the DC Extended Universe during a time where all of their films failed to gain critical traction. Gal Gadot’s solo debut as the superheroine was praised for its emphasis on human connection, action sequences, and inspiring messages. The film went on to make over $800 million at the box office, breaking down notions that superhero movies starring women would flop at the box office. When it came time for the sequel, however, Gadot was ready to walk away if Warner Bros. couldn’t meet her salary demands.

‘Wonder Woman’ Star Gal Gadot Celebrates Batman Day With ‘Justice League’ Set Video

Gal Gadot revealed that she was prepared to walk away from the role in an interview with Elle.

“If you look at it like a card game, my hand got better. I was willing to drop the ball and not do it if I wasn’t paid fairly.”

When asked if she thought she would lose out on getting the pay raise, Gal Gadot affirmed that she knew what she was doing was right.

“No, because when I’m righteous, I’m also right.”

Gal Gadot was paid a painstakingly low $300,000 for the first Wonder Woman – an exorbitantly low number when compared to other Hollywood A-listers who have joined the superhero game. Gadot ended up making 30 times that amount ($9,000,000) for Wonder Woman 1984. One can only speculate what the Israeli star will make for the upcoming threequel.

Patty Jenkins returns to direct the next chapter in the story, which finds Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) living and working among mortals, remaining selfless in a vibrant era of excess and “having it all.” But her own values are challenged as she reunites with a lost love while stepping into the spotlight to help humanity escape a dangerous world of its own making. Also starring Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.

Wonder Woman 1984 is available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the Wonder Woman franchise as we learn it and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
