Katy Perry’s “Daisies” broke into the top 10 on ’s Adult Pop Songs airplay chart this week (dated July 4), catapulting Perry in a new league with other esteemed pop acts.

She became the fifth artist in history with minimally 16 career top 10 hits, following Maroon 5 (25), Taylor Swift (22), P!nk (17) and Kelly Clarkson (16). To officially welcome her into the club, P!nk quoted the Billboard Charts Twitter account listing the aforementioned statistics yesterday (June 30), writing, “Congratulations Katy!!!!! Perry wrote back to P!nk (real name Alecia Moore), “The Moore the merrier” with heart and smiley face emojis as she used the singer’s last name as a play on words. Clarkson, who ties the “Daisies” singer with exactly 16 top 10 smashes, also gave the superstar her flowers via Twitter.

ESPN to Air Eagles’ ‘Live From The Forum MMXVIII’ Concert for Fourth of July Weekend

Calling all Eagles fans! ESPN has special plans for you this Fourth of July weekend.

The sports broadcast network will air the Los Angeles-based rock band’s 2018 sold-out tour stops at The Forum on September 12, 14 and 15. Joined by special guest artists Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, the Eagles performed 26 songs each of those nights that have now been compiled into a “Live From The Forum MMXVIII” live album and concert film premiering on ESPN this Sunday, July 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

“Sports and music have long been at the top of the list for being able to bring people of all types together. The Eagles have been doing just that for almost half a century,” said Chris Berman, longtime ESPN’s SportsCenter anchor and Eagles fan, in a press statement. “We at ESPN are thrilled beyond belief to share this premiere with everyone! What a wonderful way to cap off the holiday weekend!”

Directed by Nick Wickham on 14 4K cameras, the “Live From The Forum MMXVIII” will be available on Oct. 16 through Rhino in various audio and video formats, such as Blu-ray, CD, vinyl and streaming. The seminal set captures the band’s iconic hits (“Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Desperado”) and the individual members’ solo smashes (Don Henley’s “Boys Of Summer” and Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way”).

“Music and sports fans have been shut out from live events for more than three months. The premiere of ‘Live From The Forum MMXVIII,’ this July 4th weekend on ESPN, is the Eagles’ gift to their fans,” said Eagles’ longtime manager Irving Azoff in the statement. “We are honored to be part of ESPN’s Sunday night programming, the home of such acclaimed shows as ’30 for 30′ and ‘The Last Dance.'”

All formats of the live album and concert film is currently available for pre-order on the Eagles’ official website and Rhino.com before it airs on ESPN this Sunday evening for what Burke Magnus, ESPN executive vice president, programming acquisitions and scheduling, described as a “momentous event from one of the cathedrals of sports — The Forum” in the release.
