A syndicate of 10 Northern Territorians have woken up as millionaires after winning the sole division one prize in last night's Oz Lotto.

A syndicate of 10 Northern Territorians has woken up as millionaires after winning the sole division one prize in last night's Oz Lotto.

The Golden Oz syndicate, which buys their tickets from Humpty Doo Newsagency near Darwin, has been playing the lottery for a few months, newsagency manager Helen said.

"This is definitely the biggest prize this syndicate has won," she said.

Along with winning the $35 million division one prize, the group scored wins in other divisions as well, bringing their pot to $35,093,777.25.

They'll each receive a share worth $3,509,377.73.

The members themselves were unaware of their win until they were contacted this morning.

"I wasn't even going to buy a ticket," one woman said.

"I am going to upgrade my car and I want to travel around the whole world."

Another syndicate member had only just woken up when he got the news.

"Holy moly, God I love ya," he said.

"I need a cup of tea to calm down."

Some of the syndicate members are unregistered, which means they can't be contacted by lottery authorities.

Anyone who purchased a syndicate entry from Humpty Doo Newsagency is being urged to check their ticket today.

Anyone who believes they're holding a division one winning syndicate share should contact The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process.
