The Go! Team Return With Explosive Single 'Pow'

It's fantastic...The Go! Team have shared their punchy new single 'Pow' in full. The technicolour pop group's new album 'Get Up Sequences Part One' will be released on July 2nd, with founder Ian Parton having lost his hearing half-way through. A true triumph over adversity, the record is trailed by new single 'Pow' which features Ninja front and centre. The MC amplifies the energy, while the cut 'n' paste production is gleefully contradictory, a mesh of styles that runs on energy alone. Ian Parton comments... “I’ve always been interested in flipping between sections within the same song - a bit like channel hopping. This track channels Curtis Mayfield one second, soaring Mellotron strings the next. Ninja’s old school rapping rubs shoulders with dive bombing guitars - The Go! Team’s always been about the difference between things”. Tune in now. 'Get Up Sequences Part One' will be released on July 2nd. - - - Join us on the ad-free creative social network Vero, as we get under the skin of global cultural happenings.
