There has been much speculation about the players that could be headed to Naturena when the transfer window opens, but Mendu has listed five players who could have an immediate impact.

Mendu listed five players across the park who cold turn Kaizer Chiefs into a Premiership powerhouse again.

Ronwen Williams between the sticks

Mendu believes that the two-time Golden Glove winning goalkeeper Ronwen Williams should be lured to Kaizer Chiefs.

The Glamour Boys legend believes the Bafana Bafana keeper is the most consistent gloveman in the country.

“Rowen Williams can help their goalkeeping department, his consistency right now, its second to none,” Mendu said in an interview with Soccer Laduma.

Mendu would be delighted to see Cape Town City playmaker Mduduzi Mdantsane in black and gold.

Mdantsane has shown that he can pull the strings for Cape Town City and the 26-year-old has rightly been tipped to move to one of the big three.

“Go there and get Mduduzi Mdantsane, to add the creative spark in the midfield,” Mendu said.

Swallows Defender Njabulo Ngcobo is likely to join Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the season with Bobby Motaung alread circling him.

Chiefs are in need of defensive rejuventation with their longt-time stalwarts fading in influence.

“Njabulo Ngcobo could reinforce the defence,” Mendu added.

Mendu expressed his belief that Kaizer Chiefs need a hard man in the midfield and picked out Teboho Mokoena as the best man for the job.

The outspoken former midfielder says Kaizer Chiefs need “Teboho Mokoena to solidify the midfield”.

Mendu rounded off his wishlist by saying: “Sipho Mbule to add more creativity going forward.”

Mbule is the third SuperSport United player on the list which could present Kaizer Chiefs with a challenge given the club’s high profile proclamation that they wouldn’t be selling players to Amakhosi.
