Of course, they manage to get themselves in quite a pickle which they manage to get out of thanks to their wits. Sam ‘Ace’ Rothstein in Casino (1995)

Last but certainly not the least is Sam “Ace” Rothstein (played by none other than Robert De Niro) in the movie Casino. As you’ve probably already guessed, Ace is a gambler closely intertwined with the mafia. Before being placed in charge of overseeing The Tangiers casino in Las Vegas, Ace was a very talented gambler. As it was said, whenever he’d bet on something, the odds for all the bookies would change. The dark atmosphere of the movie is the perfect setting for anyone looking to learn more about how casinos work.
