Vanity vans from Cirkus Gangubai Kathiwadi sets to be used by Mumbai police
Well, this is certainly new. With the second wave of the novel coronavirus especially affecting the state of Maharashtra and with film and television shoots coming to a halt, vanity vans are being used by the Mumbai police. According to media reports, these bans which ferry stars to and from their sets are now being used by the cops who are on the job, day in and day out. Ketan Rawal, the owner of these vanity vans has diverted these vanity vans to the police. “I have diverted vans from Rohit Shetty's Cirkus, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Aanand L Rai's Raksha Bandhan in service of the Mumbai police,” he told ETimes.

“I have a large number of vanity vans in service of the Mumbai police, they are the frontline workers; last year we offered it to the women officials who are field duty and needed to rest, use washrooms while doing their duties and of course change before going home,” he added. Having received a call from the Thane Police Commissioner, Rawal will be sending another 10 vanity vans to the police officers and constables. Once the lockdown is lifted and shoots are allowed, these vans will be sanitised and return to Bollywood celebrities.
