South African players AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn and Chris Morris who are the vital cogs in the wheel for Royal Challengers Bangalore have arrived in the UAE, on Saturday morning, for starting preparations ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL). RCB’s Indian players have also landed in Dubai and all the players will go under the quarantine period before heading toward training camp. Taking to Twitter, RCB shared two small clips of AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn and Chris Morris onboard a flight and after arrival in the team’s hotel. They all were seen wearing masks in the videos.

RCB’s Indian players have also landed in Dubai and all the players will go under the quarantine period before heading toward training camp.

Taking to Twitter, RCB shared two small clips of AB de Villiers, and Chris Morris onboard a flight and after arrival in the team’s hotel. They all were seen wearing masks in the videos. De Villiers opined that he is excited for this years to show while Steyn and Morris also expressed their happiness to play after a long break.

AB de Villiers and share a great camaraderie. The duo has played several match-winning knocks for them. However, they are yet to lead the team to the coveted trophy.

For the past three editions, the franchise has been finishing at the bottom of the points table. This time fans are expecting them to lift the trophy.

Meanwhile, RCB’s England, Australian and Sri Lankan contingent are yet to join them in the UAE. England and Australia have bilateral series against each other which will end on 16th September.

So, they are expected to join the team just before the inauguration match of the IPL 2020 scheduled on 19th September. While the only Sri Lankan player Isuru Udhana is expected to land there in early September.

Among Australian players, RCB has their white-ball captain , whom the franchise bought in the last auction, pacer Kane Richardson and Josh Philepe. The allrounder Moeen Ali is the only England player in RCB. They are expected to reach the UAE on 17 September.

Notably, RCB Chairman Sanjeev Chunariwala said that the England and Australian players who would be coming from after playing the bilateral series would not have to go under quarantine because they would be already coming through a controlled environment.
