  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Northern Cape, except its eastern and north-eastern parts, as well as in places over Walter Sisulu Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the escarpment and eastern Highveld, otherwise fine and warm to hot.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm, but hot in the extreme west.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the extreme east at first, otherwise fine and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog along the coast where it will be cool otherwise fine and warm to hot.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning over the south-western parts with fog along west-coast and Cape Metropole, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly but fresh along the west-coast in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cool along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cloudy with fog in places in the south-east in the morning and evening.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the morning, otherwise light to moderate south-westerly, becoming light north-westerly at night.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but cloudy fog in places south of the escarpment in the morning and evening.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly, but light and variable in the south in the morning.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy with morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
