  1. Yellow warning (L2) for severe thunderstorms over Limpopo as well as the Highveld of Mpumalanga, with possible impacts of localized flooding of low lying areas and bridges, including susceptible roads.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the north.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the west, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the south-west. It will be cold in places along the escarpment.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the south western parts where it will be hot with isolated showers and thundershowers otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread in the north.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the extreme east with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, otherwise fine and hot.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the extreme east with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, otherwise fine and warm to hot.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy at first in the west, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly becoming fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly by the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy at first, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise fine and cool.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southwesterly.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Fine and warm in the extreme north west, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers, but scattered in the south east.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southwesterly becoming lite easterly in the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool but cold in the south-west with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly becoming south-easterly in the afternoon.
