Sakshi Dhoni also shared a heartfelt message and a beautiful picture of MS Dhoni on Instagram. She captioned the post, stating that she is proud of his accomplishments. Sakshi added that Dhoni must have held back his tears to say goodbye to his passion.

“You should be proud of what you have achieved. Congratulations on giving your best to the game. I am proud of your accomplishments and the person you are! I am sure you must have held those tears to say goodbye to your passion. Wishing you health, happiness and wonderful things ahead,” Sakshi Singh Dhoni wrote along with a picture of her husband looking at a sunset.

Sakshi Dhoni also quoted Maya Angelou in her Instagram post.

On 15th August, MS Dhoni shared an Instagram post to officially announce his retirement. He posted a video which had all the memories with the Indian team with background song running “pal do pal ka Shayar”

He wrote, “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”

Although we would not see him again Indian jersey, he would be seen playing from in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 edition.
